Interactive Project Coordinator
Hanko - Private or official seals or stamps engraved with the name of the office, institution or individual to which it belongs.
Colin is a German-American artist who has the courage and strength of an eagle. Can you find the two Cs hidden in his hanko?
I was manufactured in Germany and am currently owned and operated in the U.S. I graduated cum laude from Auburn Montgomery with a degree in Graphic Design and currently serve as Stamp’s Interactive Project Coordinator. I’m passionate about all aspects of the advertising industry, from the creative to account service, and I get to stretch my creative muscle in almost everything I do. If you happen to notice an assortment of Post-it notes resembling some form of picture around the office, then I probably had my hand in it. Unless I’m in trouble, in which case I don’t know what you’re talking about.
I make: Ideas, an atmosphere of productivity, jokes, art, the occasional lunch for myself, and more!
Why I love the business: At Stamp, I am offered plenty of freedom in terms of how I approach projects and opinions are valued. I love the creative output of the agency as a whole and I enjoy hanging out with everyone at the office. And advertising is a great outlet for my creative energies, whether it's design or something else that requires creative thinking.
I want to Stamp out: The distance between me and my favorite Chinese food joint.
Favorite music: A smattering of this and that. I won’t change the station if Pearl Jam or the Red Hot Chili Peppers are on.
Back in the day I had a thick German accent, little to no style, and a generally awkward presence. I’ve lost the accent so far, so I’ve got that going for me.
Where I like to make my mark: In creative ways such as Post-it note art, helping around the office, etc.
Favorite quote: "Dear Sir stroke Madam. Fire, exclamation mark. Fire, exclamation mark. Help me, exclamation mark. 123 Carrendon Road. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best, Maurice Moss."
-The IT Crowd.
Trashy TV addiction: Cartoons from the 90s (Trashy? How dare you!), comedies, most anything with Jackie Chan in it.
Favorite movie quote: “I became…” “What?” “Bulimic.” “You can read minds?” –Zoolander
Favorite hashtag: #deadlogos
Raving about: Listen, I don’t mean to nerd out here, but the influx of comic book movies alongside the general surge of fantasy TV and books in popular culture is kind of a big deal.
Honk if you love: I wouldn’t honk at me, I’m generally a skittish creature and will disappear into the brush if startled.
Best advice received: “Listen, this giant blue ball we call home will not stop spinning because you made a mistake. Take a breather, learn from your mistakes, and everything will be fine.”
My spare time is spent: Reading, drawing, watching TV with my wife, cooking, hanging out with my my family, the list could go on…
Four words that describe me would be: Roguishly handsome, dapper, and worldly. If they have to be actually true, then I'd go with, silly, introspective, creative, and hungry.
Once aspired to be…An archeologist. Because I was young and impressionable and Indiana Jones is the coolest dude ever. Or a paleontologist. Because I was young and impressionable and Jurassic Park is the coolest thing ever.
Hidden talent: I can whistle and hum at the same time.
